The Parliament on Tuesday approved the appointment of Mohamed Sadiq and Ahmed Mizmadh to the Police Board as members representing the public, under the Police Service Actl.
Application was opened for the post of two members representing the public in February this year, attracting four applicants. They are Mohamed Sadiq, Ahmed Mizmadh, Ahmed Muawiyath Qasim and Misbah Hassan.
The appointments of Mohamed Sadiq and Ahmed Mizmadh to the Police Board were approved by a unanimous vote of 64 members.
The term of office of the members appointed to the Police Board is four years.
