Company running Four Seasons earns $579 mln last year

The Singaporean company running all the Four Season resorts in Maldives earned $579 million in 2015.

Four Season Kuda Huraa, Lan'daa Giraavaru, Gili Lankafushi, Holiday Inn Kandoomaa and Six senses laamu had done business worth more than $471 million. The Singaporean company, Hotel Property Ltd earned a total income of $579 million last year.

Hotel Property Ltd has hotels and resorts running in Bhutan, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Africa. HPL earned a profit of $115 million last year.

A number of world famous brands run hotels and resorts in Maldives. Maldivian tourism is the fastest earning sector and helps cover cost spent with income at a high speed.
