Assad regime snipers playing target games on civilians

A British surgeon has claimed that snipers belonging to the Assad regime in Syria have been playing disturbing target games on civilians. David Nott, a british surgeon who has spent five weeks in Syria, said that snipers would target different parts of civilian's bodies while they ran inside the town gathering food or supplies.

Speaking to The Times, doctor Nott said that mainly three body parts were used as target practice. "One day it would be the groin, one day it would be the neck, the next it would be the chest" he said.
Dr Nott revealed that surgeon and his co workers discovered the game from the time that patients started coming in. Adding to the information, he said that the snipers would win cigarette packs for the most number of targets hit.

Speaking to The Times, Dr Nott said that one day, more than six pregnant women came in with injuries sustained from sniper fire and two more came in on another day. The doctor revealed that the women had survived, unfortunately their unborn babies did not. One of the unborn babies died by suffering a bullet to the brain. Dr Nott said that all these women were shot at the uterus, adding that the target practising game had now advanced to killing unborn babies.

Dr Nott explained the horrendous images that he had to go through while working in Syria. The doctor said that he was not sure which side the snipers were on but he believed that they belonged to Assad's regime.
