President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has departed on an official three day visit to Malaysia last night.
The First Lady will be participating in the “Permata International Conference: Children Beyond Tomorrow” being held between 31st May and 2nd June 2016. First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim, who is participating in the Conference on the invitation of the Malaysian Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, is scheduled to give a lecture on “Education for the Development of the Country”.
The President is also scheduled to meet the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
