North Korea missile launch fails again

South Korea has reported that a North Korean missile launch has failed again. South Koreans officials revealed that the missile exploded at a mobile launch pad, in North Korea's latest attempt to test ballistic capacity.

In a statement released today, South Korea's Joint Chief of Staff have said that North Korea attempted to launch an unidentified missile in the morning, but that it had likely failed. Officials revealed that they were still analysing the incident, and declined when asked for further comments.

South Korea's official news agency reported that the missile exploded at a mobile launch pad by citing an anonymous government source. Tensions have been at peak ever since North Korea launched a string of missile tests, however none have been successful.

Japan had put it's military on alert on Monday for a possible North Korean ballistic missile launch. No further details regarding the missile has been revealed yet.
