Popular online booking website, booking.com, has partnered up for the Guesthouse Conference.
Getaways, organizers of the Conference, said participating in the first ever Guesthouse Maldives Conference is an honor and that 150 guesthouse owners will be joining the Conference. The Conference will be held on the 24th of next month.
United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has also endorsed the Guesthouse Maldives Conference.
Fifteen parties had signed partner agreements for the Conference, including Avas Online, which is the online media partner.
Guesthouse business is one the fastest growing business sectors in the country, with around 500 guesthouses opened in various parts of the country. Out of this, 300 are in operation.
