Crown and Champa Resorts Chairman Champa Hussain Afeef has appealed to youth not cease pursuing their dreams of entering and thriving in the business sector.
Speaking in the opening ceremony of the Commercial Bank of the Maldives (CMB) held this morning in Hotel Jen, Champa Hussain Afeef said the newly opened bank will further invigorate the banking sector in the country as well as opportunities.
"Plenty of new opportunities will be opened up, not just for business but also for small businesses," Afeef said.
He said the bank was a platform for small new businesses. Noting that Maldives now has a sovereign credit rating, Afeef said that this was a step in the right direction to gain investor confidence. He also said the policies and economic agenda of President Yameen had spelt success for investments.
Afeef gave assurance that Commercial Bank will provide all assistance to businesses and said the bank will seek to build trust with Maldivians.
