"Avas" as "Feel Sri Lanka'' fair's online partner

Avas Online has been appointed as the media partner for the "Feel Sri Lanka: Single Country Exhibition" which will be held from the 27th to the 29th of next month.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Avas by Director of Sales Mohamed Ahmed (Hanafy). MD Mohamed Firaq signed on behalf of Ace Travels. The Fair is organized by Ace Travels and Inner Maldives.

Sri Lankan Airlines also signed on exhibition partners. Sri Lankan Bilaterla Business Council and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce are sponsors of the exhibition.

Speaking about the media partner agreement, Avas Sales and Marketing Head Aminath Mohamed said Avas had signed on as many companies are participating in the expo. She said the exhibition will open many business and other opportunities in Sri Lanka to Maldivians.

Speaking after the signing, Firaq said this was the largest event on Sri Lanka in the Maldives. He said the exhibition will also facilitate better relations between the two countries.

Firaq said that Sri Lankan Airlines Maldives Agent, Ace Travels was participating in the Expo as the company promotes many Sri Lankan businesses in Maldives. Avas was appointed as the media partner due to the rapid growth.

Education and health sector companies will be participating in the Expo. The Expo will also feature Sri Lankan culture, food festival, a music show with Sri Lankan performers and artists. A business forum will be held on the sidelines of the Exhibition. So far over 40 companies had signed up for the exhibition.

The Expo will also hold an art festival. NCA had signed up as the Art Competition Partner today. NCA Director Ahmed Nazim Mohamed signed the agreement on behalf of NCA. Nazim said the art festival will grant more opportunities to develop art in the country.
