Sounds of Maldives show has been delayed. The show was initially slated for December in Bangkok, Thailand. The show will now be held in Singapore in February 2017, along with the Dive Resort Travel (DRT) Expo.
The show has now been formally included in the Expo's itinerary. The Expo will be held from 24-26 of February in Singapore's Sun Tech City.
Show organizer Highrise Managing Director Ismail Shifaz (Sippe) said the show will be held to both market the destination and showcase local talent to a global audience. He said this was a great success for the show.
DRT Expo has been held in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. The seventh edition of the Expo will be held in January, with 150 exhibitors.
High Rise said between 20 - 25 companies can participate in the event, which has been endorsed by MMPRC. This year, Habeys bodu beru group, solo artists Rishwan (Ritte), DJ Ali Fazeel (DJ Ali) and Mariyam Unoosha will feature in the show.
Sounds of Maldives shows have been held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, Dubai and Bangalore.
