Mega Maldives commences flights to Sri Lanka

Mega Maldives has decided to start operating flights between Maldives and Sri Lanka expanding the archipelago's only private airline's network to three countries.

A statement released by Mega Maldives informs that the airline's first flight to Lanka will depart from Male' to Colombo at 1:10 PM today. Mega Maldives flights to Lanka will be scheduled on three days, Saturday, Thursday and Monday.

The airline informs that they are making an effort to keep the price as affordable as possible, and will commence flights with a one way trip costing between 70 to 96 dollars and two way trips costing 165 dollars.

Mega Maldives currently has Saudi Arabia and Malaysia on its flight network. Although flights to Saudi Arabia have been halted temporarily, they are scheduled to begin around the 15th of next month. Mega Maldives informs that they are also planning to start flights between India's New Delhi and Maldives, and that these plans will be implemented soon.
