Sri Lankan Airlines opens office in Maldives south

Sri Lankan Airlines Tuesday opened an office in Maldives' southern most Atoll Addu as the airline prepares to operate flights between Gan island and Colombo from next month.

Local sales agent Ace Aviation said the office would provide ticketing and other services to passengers.

SriLankan will be the only international carrier to the archipelago's south.

The airline has set a return ticket from Gan to Colombo at USD342.
