Dhiraagu has been experiencing technical difficulties which has caused service interruptions in some southern Atolls. Bank of Maldives (BML) has also been facing difficulties with it's internet and mobile banking service.
Dhiraagu said it has been facing difficulties in several atolls in the south of Maldives since Tuesday evening.
The company has assured customers that efforts are underway to resolve the issues and restore optimum service. Dhiraagu has not revealed the nature of the technical difficulties they are experiencing.
Problems are being experienced in internet connections and receiving range. Two days have passed since issues began with the BML's internet and mobile banking systems. Problems such as not receiving the transfer codes and not being able to access the app are being experienced.
The bank has also informed that they are facing technical difficulties and are working to fix the issues. Both companies have issued apologies to customers for the inconvenience.
