Maldivian Vice President Abdulla Jihad has met with Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari during his trip to India. The meeting took place at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi.
The Vice President's discussed ways to further strengthen the relations between Maldives and India, as well as topics such as regional safety and how to further strengthen the trade between both countries.
They noted on the importance of strengthening the banking system and the economy as well. Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed was also present during this discussion.
