A 44 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual abusing two minors.
Police confirmed the arrest in Thaa Atoll Madifushi island last Thursday and added the investigation was currently underway.
Police said the Magistrate Court in neighbouring Veymandoo island had extended the suspect's remand by 14 days.
