Guesthouse Maldives has revealed that over 800 tourists visited Maafushi to celebrate this New Year.
Many Maldivians visited the island for holidays, taking part in the many events lined up at Maafushi to celebrate New Year. These events were organised by the Maafushi guesthouses, which were full in New Year according to officials.
There are around 700 beds in over 40 guesthouses in Maafushi. The amount of beds is expected to rise to 1,200 this year, with already USDone million coming in every month to Maafushi.
