'Avas' named media partner of Maldives' first tourism fair

The first Maldivian tourism fair, Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) has assigned 'Avas' as it's media partner.

Signing the agreement on behalf of 'Avas' was Head of Marketing, Aminath Mohamed. Signing the agreement on behalf of the organisers of TTM, Maldivian Getaways, was CEO Dr. Hussein Sunny.

In addition to 'Avas', there are four other media partners for this event in various fields. The other media partners are the Public Service Media (PSM), Maldives.net, The Island Chief and Cooperate Maldives.

Maldives Getaways has also launched a special software for the resorts taking part in this event.

With the aim of bringing in 2 million tourists in the next four years and increasing the income of tourism to USD3.5 billion, the TTM fair is set to host 150 foreign and local travel agents, top officials of 100 resorts/ tourist hotels, along with 50 journalists and PR firms.

The TTM fair will be held in the July of this year.

'Avas' had also been the media partners to several prestigious events last year, including the Feel Sri Lanka fair, Mister Maldives, the Guest House Conference as well as the Vacations expo.

'Avas' is also the media partner of the first international franchise show in the Maldives, the Maldivian Idol.
