STO kicksoff 'Chocolate Fest' with large discounts

The annual chocolate festival organised by the State Trading Organisation (STO) has been launched for the 10th consecutive year. The event, which is being called Chocolate Fest this time around, has been held non stop for a decade.

The event was launched officially on Thursday at a special ceremony by the STO Food and Beverages Department Head, Fathimath Ashan. Speaking at the ceremony, she noted that the event has received much appreciation from the public in it's decade long run. She thanked all the companies which help organise and run the event with STO.

The event will continue starting this Thursday up until the 20th of this month. Six companies who market and import chocolate in the country will be taking part in the event, including Euro, VB, Golden Lane and Happy Market among others.

A lucky draw promotion will also be held at the event, for those who make chocolate purchases of over 250 Maldivian Rufiyaa. The 6 winners of the draw will receive a gift hamper filled with various types of chocolate.

Renowned chocolate brands will be available with large discounts during this promotion, with new brands of chocolate set to make their debut at the festival.

Free tasting will also be available for customers at the fest, with some stalls also offering free chocolates with every purchase. Other stalls offer lucky draws and with resort tickets included as prizes.
