Several local journalists have expressed concern over a cash 'gift' by the Saudi Arabian embassy during an event on Saturday.
During an event held by the Saudi embassy to honour a young man with autism for completely memorizing the Quran, embassy officials had handed sealed envelopes to the local journalists covering the event saying that it was 'gift' from the Saudi government.
Journalists said they had realized the envelopes contained cash after they had left the event. Avas understands that most media outlets have since returned 'gift' to the Saudi embassy.
