Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Monday launched a promotion aimed at local boat makers by bringing down the price of the Scott Bader resin.
MTCC General Manager Ahmed Adhuham said during the event to launch the promotion that a special discount of 10 percent will be offered on the product until the end of April.
Under the promotion, Scott Bader resin will be available at MVR10,800 per barrel.
Adhuham noted that boat making had experienced a surge in the Maldives recently, and added that this promotion would greatly benefit boat makers. He further stated that the Scott Bader resin was an internationally renowned product, well suited for this cause.
MTCC holds multiple promotions for international marine products.
