A young man, on Thursday, died in an accident in Laamu Atoll Isdhoo Kalaidhoo. The 27-year-old was reported dead while receiving treatment at the health centre.
The fatal accident had occurred on Laamu Atoll link road around 10 pm after the man skidded his motorbike and landed on the road.
According to the police, he was well within the speed limit when the motorbike skidded. Further details of the accident still remain unclear.
