Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has stated that the usable reserve increased by five percent in March this year.
Central bank revealed that the usable reserve for February was USD213 million, which is five percent lower than the figure of USD224.7 million in March.
MMA announced that the nation’s usable reserve had an amount of USD501.2 million by the end of March.
Usable reserve is the fund into which all the receipts of international transactions are required to be paid out by the central bank, MMA.
