US group develops two new Maldives resorts

Renowned American hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group, on Monday, announced the development of two new resorts in the Maldives expected to open by the end of 2020.

According to an online news outlet, the hotel group announced the developing of two resorts in Maldives along with seven other projects.

The two resorts being developed are; the "Chatwal Maaga Maldives", to be opened in 2019 and "Dream Gasveli Maldives" in 2020.

The first of the two new resorts in Maldives, "Chatwal Maaga Maldives" will feature 80 ultra-luxury villas, six private beach villas and two presidential villas, as well as three culinary venues bringing fine dining and casual barefoot elegance to the lagoon's edge in North Ari Atoll.

"Dream Gasveli Maldives" resort spanning across three islands in Meemu Atoll, will feature 500 villas, eight experiential dining and nightlife venues, including the brand's signature Dream Beach Club, a 20,000-square-foot wellness spa, and more than a dozen designer brand retail outlets for exclusive duty-free shopping on site.
