Vacations Expo 2017 signs with sponsors, partners

Vacations Expo 2017, slated to be held from July 6-8 in the capital Male, signed with its featured 11 partners on Monday.

Inner Maldives Holidays has signed as the main sponsor for the Expo and MVHOTELS associate partner. Both Inner Maldives and MVHOTELS continued the same partnership as last year in the Vacations Expo event.

The expo also signed on other partners such as; Ooredoo Maldives as telecom partner, Public Service Media as official TV partner, Absolute Security and Advance Protection Private Limited as security partner, Stage Core as sound and lighting partner and Amana Takaful as travel insurance partner.

This event showcases services in travel for the Maldivians and expats living in the country. The purpose of this event is to promote, lead and advance the travel and tourism industry. It will act as a business platform that is to be attended by a huge number of locals and expats, trade professionals and business owners associated with travel sector both inbound and outbound.

The state tourism promotion company, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) also announced their endorsement to the second edition of Vacations Expo.

Vacations Expo 2017 will also feature the tourism authority of Thailand as a gold partner. This will be the first tourism event in Maldives that will be attended by the Thai Tourism Authority.

As the first ever travel trade show held in Maldives, major travel industry stake holders, airlines, tour operators, guest houses, resort and hotel brands are expected to attend the Expo.

Organized by local event management company Highrise, their aim is to make the second edition of the travel exhibition “bigger and better” with more exhibits, programs, activities and prizes.

Highrise is one of the leading event management companies in the Maldives. Highrise has held several events both locally and internationally. Some of the most successful events lead by Highrise include the Maldives Travel Awards, Maldives Film Awards, Maldives Living Expo and Sound of Maldives.
