President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, on Wednesday, appointed three members to the Local Government Authority (LGA) following the ratification an amendment to the decentralisation act.
The newly appointed members, all from three different sectors, are Amir Ali from the field of governance and public administration, Ahmed Hassan from the civil association sector and Minna Rasheed; a female member experienced in the field of gender equality.
President had also appointed deputy Attorney General on Wednesday.
