Dhiraagu has announced that they will be introducing their new service, mobile money called “Dhiraagu Pay”.
Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) governor Azima Adam had awarded the mobile money service license to Dhiraagu at the Financial Expo 2017.
According to Dhiraagu, the introduction of this service, mobile phones can be used as a virtual wallet to carry on day-to-day transactions as an alternative to carrying cash in your wallet. Dhiraagu will also launch the mobile app of this service for the convenience of customers.
Marketing manager and PR of Dhiraagu, Mirushaan Hussain stated that the service is expected to be launched soon.
Dhiraagu Pay enables transactions such as the transferring money to each other, paying Dhiraagu bills, and shopping at companies that support Dhiraagu Pay. The service can also be used on phones that do not have an internet feature by the use of an USSD code.
