A Maldivian couple has been injured after a car collided with three-wheeler in Havelock City of Sri Lanka
The accident had occurred around 10:00pm on Sunday and the couple was rushed to Lanka Hospitals. Reporting to a local news outlet, the family of the injured revealed that the man was in critical condition and being treated at the Intensive Care Unit. The woman, however, was treated at emergency department and released from the hospital.
The accident had occurred after the driver of the car tried to overtake another vehicle and lost control of the wheel. The driver of the three-wheeler was also injured in the accident.
The couple was native to capital city Malé. The woman is of 34 years and the man is a 37-year-old.
The family however did not disclose any further information on the couple.
