A board of directors meeting of national bank, Bank Of Maldives (BML) has appointed the company's new Chairperson in Saeedha Umar.
Ms Umar is the Policy Consultant at Ministry of Economic Development as well as the co-chair of China Maldives Free Trade Agreement Working Group.
In addition to this, the newly appointed Chairperson of BML is a working member at Economic Empowerment of Women - an initiative started by President Abdullah Yameen.
