Ministry of Economic Development is set to arrange a forum to boost trade relationship between Maldivian and Thai entrepreneurs.
During a press conference held today at Economic Ministry, Deputy Minister Adam Thaufeeq confirmed a Thai delegation of 26 entrepreneurs will visit Maldives on September 28, to attend a trade-relation forum which is open to all local businessmen and entrepreneurs.
"The delegation has corporate individuals representing food and beverages, automobile part manufacturers, hardware manufacturers and suppliers as well" said Deputy Minister Thaufeeq.
Deputy Minister said a third forum is scheduled in place after the success of the two preceding forums as well as on request of Thailand's entrepreneurs and investors. He also noted the forum coincides with the Thai Tourism Minister's visit to Maldives.
