Maldives coastguard on Friday intercepted a Thailand fishing boat inside the archipelago's special economic zone.
Coastguard said the boat with a 10 member crew was spotted 76.5 miles off the coast of Thaa Atoll Hirilandhoo island around 10.50pm on Friday.
The boat named 'Chotpatanna 55' had 200 tonnes of fish on-board when it was seized by the coastguard, an official added.
