Largest telecommunication provider in Maldives Dhiraagu has upped their humanitarian cause by joining alongside Maldives Red Crescent (MRC) for social welfare causes.
Dhiraagu has now revealed officially they have decided to become a subscribing member of MRC in order to assist the humanitarian body with causes.
The telecommunication corporation had signed with MRC on Tuesday in a ceremony to commemorate international Red Crescent day. Dhiraagu is a platinum member of the humanitarian body.
Subscribing memberships are opened by MRC for local ventures and businesses to provide aid and support through any able means should natural disasters and similar catastrophes strike.
MRC's secretary general Aishath Noora commented the inclusion of Dhiraagu as their platinum subscribing member means a boost to humanitarian causes and work carried out by the body as well as an encouragement for other local ventures to join their cause.
