Court slaps flight ban on passengers for threatening crew

A magistrate court on Sunday banned the three passengers from flying in any national carrier 'Maldivian' flights for six months for threatening a flight crew.

Police arrested the three passengers they allegedly shouted profanities and threatened a crew member on a Maldivian flight on Friday.

The passengers had allegedly threatened a crew member on Maldivian flight from Male to Kooddoo via Kadhdhoo on Friday.

The magistrate had granted conditional release for the three men, which included the flight ban and cooperation with the police investigation.
