Police were called in after five passengers shouted profanities and threatened a crew member on a Maldivian flight on Friday.
Police spokesperson said the five men had allegedly threatened a crew member on Maldivian flight from Male to Kooddoo via Kadhdhoo on Friday.
The five men had been taken to the police station in Kadhdhoo, spokesperson said without divulging any details.
Maldivian airline is also yet to comment on the incident.
