President of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Tuesday morning commenced the trip to visit four islands of Meemu atoll.
The island nation's president is expected to visit the islands Dhiggaru, Mulak, Muli and Kolhufushi during his trip.
President Abdulla Yameen is scheduled to attend and officially open the sewerage systems at both Dhiggaru and Mulak.
Last week president visited some islands of Shaviyani atoll and had opened several state initiated projects in those islands.
