President of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated multiple projects at Haa Alif atoll Dhihdhoo.
The island nation's president had visited the closing ceremony of shoreline protection at Dhihdhoo while he has inaugurated the housing unit construction, sewerage system and road construction at the island.
All four projects at Dhihdhoo accosted MVR150 million from state expense.
Government attempted to provide solution for the island's erosion issue back in 2016. The shoreline protection project has resulted in a stone-wall barrier across the island to counter erosion.
Distillery network installation commenced back in 2016 which concluded all the works last year in October.
