President of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has planned to visit Thaa atoll on Monday for campaigning.
Seeking re-election the incumbent president recently concluded his three day trip to Gaaf Alif and Gaaf Dhaal atolls.
The Maldives head of state is expected to visit Thaa atoll Thimarafushi first on Monday, according to Environment Ministry. President Yameen will be opening the distillery system in the island and address the public afterwards.
President Yameen will be visiting several islands of Thaa atoll during his trip, however as of now the duration of his trip is uncertain.
