The Guesthouse Edition of Maldives Travel Awards has been scheduled for Friday, at reclaimed suburb Hulhumale'.
The prestigious awards ceremony will start at venue set at newly reclaimed area of Hulhumale' - second phase - at 20:00hrs on Friday evening.
A specific category to award local guesthouse ventures was introduced in 2017.
In 2018's awards ceremony a total of 111 ventures have been nominated under 15 different categories.
Nominees were selected through SMS and online voting carried out by the organizer. Votes are assessed based on 40% carried on TripAdvisor ratings while the remaining originates from voters.
