Opposition coalition presidential candidate's running-mate Faisal Naseem has flown to India on Saturday on a campaign trip.
After reaching Trivandrum, Naseem had met with campaign teams in the city. He met with opposition supporters at an opposition camp established at the area.
Naseem was accompanied by several other senior members of the multi-party coalition in his trip to acquire support for the crunch presidential elections.
While opposition running-mate is visiting India, meeting Maldivian locals living in the neighboring country he has already visited several islands across the island nation.
Out of the two presidential candidates and their respective running-mates, the lawmaker has made the most visits to Maldivian atolls for campaigning.
He is expected to continue his trips to Maldivian atolls after concluding his trip to India.
