Maldives president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Tuesday has visited Gaaf Dhaal atoll Thinadhoo to celebrate the conclusion of several development projects initiated in the island.
President's Office on Tuesday confirmed the island nation's head of state has visited Thinadhoo to open the newly developed and completed Islamic Center and Museum Park at the island.
In addition to this the completion of shoreline protection, land reclamation and road development projects will be celebrated in presence of president Abdulla Yameen.
Gaaf Dhaal atoll Thinadhoo will be one of the local islands the Yameen administration had focused heavily on developmental projects.
