The rate of inflation in the Maldives has dropped 0.35 percent in October, official statistics have shown.
National Bureau of Statistics said the inflation rate which was at 0.63 percent in September had dropped the following month.
According to the bureau, if the change in fish prices is excluded, the rate was at o.59 percent in comparison with 0.29 percent in September.

Video and audio recording equipment: -1.80
Motorcycle: -0.50
Tobacco: -0.25
Fruits: -0.25
Despite a drop in inflation in October, the rate had increased 0.04 percent in the past 12 months.
