Police are investigating the mysterious death of a young woman in Hulhumale'.
The woman, 27, was found dead on Friday. She was taken to Tree Top Hospital who forwarded her case to the police for further investigation on Saturday. No signs of struggle or injury were visible on her body.
It is unknown what prompted the hospital to deem her death as requiring further investigation.
A young man, 27, was also discovered dead in Male' city on Saturday. The cause of his death is also unknown and has been presented to the police.
There have been no further updates on either case.
