A 17-year old boy who was involved in a motor accident on Saturday morning has passed away.
The young man was speeding on his motorcycle before crashing into a parked pick-up truck on the outer road of capital Male'. He had no pulse upon impact, but was later revived at the hospital.
The boy passed away from complications from his injuries around noon on Saturday, while being treated at the hospital. The police have confirmed his death.
