The Election Commission (EC) has registered 36 official observers from foreign countries and organizations for the parliamentary election scheduled for April 6, 2019.
Commission member Ahmed Akram said 36 parties who met the criteria to become an observer for the election were approved which includes observers from four foreign countries, nine organizations and four international medias.
"We are working to ensure that this election is fully transparent", said Akram.
The parliamentary election will take place on April 6. A total of 386 candidates are registered to contest for 87 seats in the election. 264,589 people are eligible to vote in the election.
