Abdul Raheem appointed as opposing PNC's president

Fonadhoo MP Abdul Raheem Abdulla has been appointed as the President of opposing political party Peoples’ National Congress (PNC).

At the party’s congress held on Friday, Abdul Raheem got elected as the president without going through a vote as no other candidates contested for the post.

Abdul Raheem has been filling in for the position of temporary president of PNC until now. The party will appoint vice presidents and council members at their congress.
