A man is in critical condition after an accident that occurred in Hithadhoo island of Addu City on Friday night.
The police said the accident occurred around 2.42 am when a car collided with a motorcycle. The 25-year old motorist sustained several injuries, including a broken leg. He also suffered some injuries to his head.
While the man is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, arrangements are being made to transfer the man to a hospital in capital Male’.
The 29-year old driver of the car escaped the incident unscathed.
