The police are investigating a case where two boys aged 9 and 6 are said to have been molested in Hulhumale’.
MPS on Saturday revealed that they received reports of a man who sexually abused two boys on Thursday night around 1:00 am. While the police are investigating the case jointly with the Gender Ministry, no arrests have been made in connection to the case thus far. Action has been taken to ensure the safety of the boys, the police confirmed.
Last week, a 71-year old man was arrested on allegations of sexually abusing a 9-year old girl. Two siblings of the victim aged 13 and 16 are also suspected to be involved in the abuse.
