MVR 1.3 billion utilized for development projects

Government has spent MVR 1.3 billion on Public Sector Investment Programs (PSIP) projects in the last seven months.

Finance Ministry's weekly Fiscal Development Statistics show that approximately MVR 1.3 billion has been spent on PSIP projects thus far this year. A total budget of MVR 7 billion was allocated for PSIP projects for the current year.

The government has contracted several development projects to multiple companies, including housing projects and infrastructural development projects.

Weekly Fiscal Development Statistics show that MVR 11.8 billion has been utilized from the budget of MR 30 billion allocated for the year, while an income of MVR 11.5 billion has been recorded.
