JSC will not advise on increasing judges bench for ongoing cases

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided that the commission does not have the legal authority to advice on increasing the judges bench of a superior court for ongoing cases.

JSC held discussions on whether the commission had the authority to advise a court to add more than one judge to the bench of a case that a superior court is investigating.
