JSC suspends Magistrate Hassan Didi

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has suspended Chief Magistrate of Ga. Kanduhulhudhoo Magistrate Court, Hassan Didi.

The Commission decided during its Monday's sitting to suspend Magistrate Hassan Didi until the investigation into a complaint filed against the magistrate is concluded, and ask him not to report to official duties until further notice.

During their sitting, the commission further concluded that Magistrate Hussain Rasheed, who was transferred from Fuvahmulah Magistrate Court to Hulhumale' Magistrate Court will be transferred back to Fuvahmulak Court as the purpose of his transfer to Hulhumale Magistrate Court remains unfulfilled.

The Judicial Service Commission has been serially investigating complaints against judges in the recent months.
