President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih departed on a visit to Baa atoll on Monday.
The president was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Fehendhoo island of the atoll.
During the visit, the President will meet with Fehendhoo Island council and heads of institutes. He is also scheduled to visit Fulhadhoo, Eydhafushi, Kihaadhoo and Dhonfanu island of the atoll, and will be meeting with Island Councillors, senior officials and high ranking members of important institutions of the respective Islands.
Moreover, during his visit to Eydhafushi, the President will attend the Golden Jubilee Celebrations event of Baa Atoll Health Services and is scheduled to make remarks at the event.
