National airline 'Maldivian' is preparing to begin operation to Cochin, India in October.
The airline has revealed that the airfare to travel between Male' and Cochin is US$ 150.
Maldivian said flights will start flying to Cochin starting 27th October, with three weekly flights.
Although the airfare between Male' and Cochin is US$ 150, the fare to travel to Cochin will be US$ 199 from Hanimaadhoo International Airport.
Cochin is a popular destination among Maldivians for medical treatment.
While the airline is preparing to launch flights to Cochin, they recently acquired an Airbus A380 to expand their services. The airline intends to begin operation to China and other new destinations. The aircraft will be brought to Maldives early next year.
